I woke up this morning to this email from my friend Chris. Where it came from, I don’t know. I was a Mac user until about OS 8.5, when I had to switch to Windows for better business / accounting software. We collaborated on a number of projects he had designed for me in the past and would always end up working on his Mac. Never ever said I hated them, just that I was confused by OSX, having not used one in years. I actually built 2 Hackintoshes lately to get myself reacquainted with Macs and had emailed him a few questions the other day on how to do things & software recommendations. I even sent him the specs of my build and he was really impressed, then I got this email this morning. Oh yeah, I’m an Android user as well, I don’t have an iPhone, but the article he linked to me was complaining about the Windows 7 phone.
Hmmmm.
Later on his follow-up, after I replied and said I was sending him this shirt:

Unlike many of the other “free money” scams on the internet, I can verify this is completely legit.
The way it works, is certain websites get commissions for driving traffic to online stores, and in turn, many will share that commision with you.
Simply go to this link and signup:

Don’t worry, you won’t get spammed. Ebates is a completely legit company and I have been using the for nearly 10 years. They may opt you in to their weekly email, but you can easily unsubscribe.
After signing up, just simply search for “Ebay” in the search box. It will take you to Ebay, and make your bid or purchase. After your first purchase, they will deposit $5 and 2% of whatever you spent into your account, which in approximately 90 days, you will receive a check, or you can have the money added directly to your Paypal account.
To give you an example, here’s my current earnings for shopping via using the Ebates link first: (order #s have been altered for privacy)

As you can see, they have cashback options for just about every single major online store, with an exception of Amazon.com .
As I said, completely legit, the only thing is they have to wait 90 days before giving you the money just in case if you return an item.
